A vast iconic structure in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, is SABIC’s* first carbon-neutral building. Accommodating more than 3,600 workers and comprising multiple workspaces, a two-floor cafeteria, a mosque, and an auditorium seating 1,000 people over a land area of 66,000 sqm, the venue is breathtaking.
The client’s brief to AV consultancy MiX, was: ‘we want the best in breed’, ‘we want the best of everything,’ ‘we want the best of the technology.’
Flexibility and future proofing were central to MiX Consultancy’s AV recommendations when designing the complex AV system to meet the client’s requirements. Reliability and the highest quality performance were mandatory. MiX Consultancy standardised on display solutions from Sharp/NEC.
Sharp/NEC MultiSync® LCD displays ranging from 50-inch to 98-inch, and LED surfaces in 110-inch and 137-inch sizes feature across multiple workspaces and presentation rooms. The centrepiece is the auditorium where a magnificent 28 x 5 metre NEC FE Series LED videowall delivers the all-important wow factor.
