What do our customers really want?
We develop and bring to market products which are needed, because we design them based on customer feedback. We know that our customers, above all else, value flexibility, for instance, and therefore our open modular strategy has flourished. We don’t prescribe how our core technologies are used - our customers are free to configure and upgrade as fits their systems and usage.
Our Open Modular Platform allows end users to onboard whichever operating system, CMS or content provider they wish, confident in the knowledge that their system will function flawlessly.

Corporate Lifehacks – what’s new for ’22?
Here is just a handful of examples of where our technology enhancements are bringing real user benefit - new for 2022.
Intel®SDM with USB-C
Plug & Play meeting room experiences
With just a single USB Type C cable, connect your notebook to your compatible* NEC meeting room display to automatically switch your screen content to size-up on the big screen. Where the meeting room display features integrated touch, the user can control the notebook from the display, freeing the presenter to lead from the front and not from behind the desk.
A so-simple solution for Bring Your Own Device scenarios requiring no user training nor technical competence.
*Any NEC Large Format Display featuring the Intel®SDM interface such as the M and MA Series.

Intel®SDM Network Device Interface (NDI)
Total flexibility for real-time broadcast
NDI is a network protocol that enables audio, video and metadata signals to be sent over standard networks in real-time using a single Ethernet cable.
Sitting inside the NEC MESSAGE line-up of Large Format Displays, the BirdDog Intel®SDM revolutionises the way AV content is streamed from, and to, anywhere on the network. NDI is bidirectional, low latency, and can transmit up to 4K and beyond for the highest quality video.
For CEO broadcasts across global corporate networks, reaching any connected display, this powerful AVoIP solution is neat, seamless and low cost.

Picture Mode Settings
Set the tone for reality-like appearances
The Picture Mode allows the user to match the display’s picture settings to the usage environment to achieve the ideal image parameters.
The new Conferencing Mode will lower the colour temperature, optimised to complement the human complexion for a natural facial appearance.
With meeting equity becoming an important topic as hybrid scenarios are more commonplace, finding ways to make all meeting participants, whether they are in-room or remote, feel valued is welcomed. A more natural looking appearance is a small yet appreciated way to reduce barriers to inclusion.
RPi ComputeModule4 with AirServer®
Simple wireless screen mirroring
Instantly share content from your personal device utilising built-in AirPlay, Google Cast and MiraCast capabilities, to the AirServer-enabled NEC Large Format Display, turning the room into a collaborative space.
AirServer is an entirely wireless presentation solution with no need for apps, cables or dongles, and with a built-in Guest Access Point, it creates its own guest network with internet access so that guests can easily connect and project to the large format display.
Supporting touch and touch-back for Miracast, you can control your device via the compatible NEC interactive display for a truly liberating experience.
The AirServer software is powered by a pre-installed modular SoC Raspberry Pi module which transforms your M or ME series large format display into a universal screen mirroring receiver.
